What's Missing? School Routines Adapted Book

This interactive adapted book builds problem-solving skills and reinforces the "wh-" question word "What?" through familiar school routines. It is a perfect fit for special education classrooms, speech therapy sessions, and resource rooms working with students with autism, developmental delays, and other communication needs.

How It Works

Each page presents students with a familiar school task and a group of objects, but something is missing. Students look at the picture, identify what is missing, and choose the correct answer from a field of pictures.

For example, students are asked to do their work. They see a picture of a desk, a chair, and a piece of paper. They have to figure out that the pencil is missing.
