In this activity, a teacher or therapist reads the story, as students follow along, identify the action, match a picture piece to each page, and can practice following directions and imitation skills by imitating the action on each page. At the conclusion of the story, students may complete the included sentence comprehension activities and worksheets to extend learning.

Students working at an independent level can read and work through the book at a literacy center or independent work station.
