Practice community themed vocabulary words, preposition words, position concepts (preposition words), basic comprehension skills, "wh" questions and story sequencing with this FIRETRUCK themed adapted book and activities set.

In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story to a small group of students, as students follow along and move the firetruck into the correct position on each page. Students can also attach a matching piece to each page (included and optional). At the end of the story, students answer "wh" comprehension questions using the by matching the correct answer piece to each question page.

Students working at an independent level may read through the firetruck themed adapted book and work through questions in a literacy center or independent work station. There are several extension activities included for extra practice. (Please see photos for details.)
