This Passover Themed Adapted Book, "Where is the Afikomen Hiding?" teaches prepositions or positional words and reinforces colors and color words. It is themed around the Jewish tradition of hiding the Afikomen or broken matzoh for children to search for and find, at the end of the Seder meal, where it is then eaten for dessert.
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story as the students identify the Afikomen's position in relation to the colored object on each page. Students will match a position or preposition card to each page as the teacher reads.
Sample Verse:
"Where is Afikomen hiding?
Where can he be?
He's ________ (between) the green curtains,
As we can plainly see!"
