This "Happy Planet," Adapted Song Book teaches Earth day themed vocabulary and concepts. Adapted Song Books, develop language skills and beginning reading skills, and teach simple concepts though songs. This book is sung to the familiar tune, "Ten Little Indians."
In a small group, the teacher or therapist sings and moves through the pages, as students sing along, learn about things they can do to help the Earth. The will match the correct interactive matching picture to each page. At the end of the book, students will discuss things they can do to help the Earth as they complete an Earth Day matching activity. Students reading independently may read through the book and complete the matching activities at an independent work station or literacy center.
